Condition
Overall with some scattered minor rubbing to the gilding and enamels as expected with age; as well as some discoloration to the rims and kiln speckling. The lid with two rim chips to the outer edge, a small loss to one of the applied leaves, and a shallow chip to the edge of one cross-hatched diaper panel on the outer edge. The lip of the pot rim with a small crack (approx. 1/4 in.). The lip of the spout with a retouched loss and associated re-gilding. The interior with some glaze chips to the three spout holes. A star crack and associated dark spot to the right of the spout holes, only visible from the interior. The exterior with a separate, shallow scratch running vertically on the exterior in the same spot as the star crack. A halo around the floral cluster on the exterior of the star crack -- possibly indicating a repair and overpaint (does not fluoresce under UV light). Presents well overall.
